Pia Sundgren has been elected as Senior Fellow of the International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) and Titti Owman recieved Distinguished Service Award from the Society for MR Radiographers & Technologist (SMRT).

Pia C. Maly Sundgren, M.D., Ph.D., Lund University, Lund, Sweden has been elected as Senior Fellow of the International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) with the following motivation: "For her crucial contributions in translating new MRI technologies to clinic, with a special focus on brain tumors and autoimmune disease."

Titti Owman, R.N.(R)(CT)(MR)FSMRT Skåne University Hospital and Lund University, Lund, Sweden has been awarded the 2021 Distinguished Service Award from the Society for MR Radiographers & Technologist (SMRT).This award is given to recognize outstanding contributions and extreme level of effort and service to the operation, effectiveness, and good reputation of the Society.
